DOREEN GAGNON After numerous battles with her health, in which she raged against the dying of the light, mom finally succumbed on March 17, 2018 at the age of 87, surrounded by family at the Grace General Hospital. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Claude. She is survived by her son Richard Gagnon (Brenda); daughters, Charlene Powell and Claudia Gagnon; grandchildren, Andrea Di Ubaldo (Matt); Jordan Powell, Alex Chizda (Jared); Spencer Gagnon, Sabrina Gagnon, Desiree Gagnon, Esteban Gagbon, Duncan Gagnon, and Jessica Friesen; great-grandson Jacob Gagnon; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).
