LUCIEN G. LECLAIR December 17, 1929 - March 16, 2018 It is with sadness we announce the passing of Lucien Leclair, aged 88, at Riverview Health Centre. Lucien will be forever remembered by his wife of 54 years, Edmée, his children, Robert (Tiffany), Monique (Brian) and Nicole (Keith). Poppa was an amazing grandfather to Danielle (Brendan), Graham and Julia. Lucien was born to Donat and Agathe Leclair. He grew up in St. Norbert with his two sisters and five brothers. He attended St. Boniface and St. Paul's College. He started his career at TransAir for a short period of time and then moved to Borland Construction until his retirement. Thank you to the staff at Riverview 3E, especially those who laughed at his "bad" jokes. In keeping with his wishes, a private service was held. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Riverview Health Centre or CancerCare Manitoba. Online condolences and sharing of memories can be made at ejcoutu.com The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 204-253-5086 ejcoutu.com

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Lou was a quiet and wise man, a man for others. He lived for his family and it is obvious that they will miss him for a very long time. I thank and praise the Lord for Lou and for the wonderful example of faithfulness he left behind. Here are a few verses of his favorite poem that tell us much about the kind of person he was: "The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; DO GOOD ANYWAY. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough; GIVE THE BEST YOU'VE GOT ANYWAY. Lou, may your soul rest in peace as you continue to care for those you loved and served so well. We will remember you in our prayers. - Posted by: Claire Chenier (Edmee's sister) on: Jul 08, 2018

  • Thinking of you Edmee, and the family. Take Care, Judy Walton - Posted by: Judy Walton (Friend of Edmee) on: Mar 24, 2018
