Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL LILY BERGEN (BALDWINSON, WHEELER) Ethel Lily Bergen passed away on March 19, 2018 at the age of 78 at Langley Memorial Hospital, Langley, British Columbia. Ethel was born in Riverton, Manitoba, the second of three children to Sigurlin and Lincoln Bergen. Ethel attended Riverton Public School and the Manitoba Institute of Technology. She was employed in a variety of jobs including clerical work, bank teller and retired from a 28-year apartment management career at age 68. She was passionate about her Icelandic heritage, country music, reading, and hockey. One could envision her sitting and watching her favourite hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks, with her chair-side table covered with books and coffee cups. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Elaine, and her twin daughter Correen on March 19, 2011. She is survived by her twin daughter Colleen, daughter Leslee and son Lorne Baldwinson; brothers, Barry (Joyce) and Irving Dahl (Joan); four grandchildren, Jesse, Clinton (Amanda), Cheyenne (Armin) and Alex; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Isaac; several nieces and nephews, numerous Jonasson relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 4, 2018 at the Riverton Cemetery, Riverton, Manitoba, followed by a luncheon at the Unitarian Camp in Hnausa, Manitoba. Blessud sé minning hennar.
