Maria and Paul were both great friends and neighbours both to myself and wife Gwen. I still remember all the fun times hanging out with them both. I kept in touch with Maria with Christmas cards. She was a wonderful woman. I will miss her greatly. She is now up with Paul, my wife Gwen and our other good friends from Linwood Ave. Adam and Vera. Maria Fuchs was more than just our next door neighbor, we truly felt she was part of our family. Maria always greeted us with a wave & a smile. Every time we saw each other we would stop and talk. Christmas time she would make sure to send over some of her home made cookies.
