Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN EDWIN MARKWART Peacefully in his sleep on April 7, 2018, Norman Edwin Markwart died at Beacon Hill Lodge, Winnipeg, at the age of 83. Norman was born February 12, 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Gustav and Anna Markwart of Ashern, MB. Norman is survived by wife Beverley, four children and family, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's la Prairie Anglican Church, 36 Second Street S.W., Portage la Prairie, with Reverend John Dolloff officiating. Interment of urn at a later date in Inwood Cemetery. Donation in Norman's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or a charity of your choice.

Reid knew Norman all his life, and grew up in the Ashern area with him. Reids family was close friends with Norman's family, and has many good memories of growing up with the Markwarts.
