RAYMOND KROPP March 25, 1941 - April 26, 2018 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Kropp on Thursday, April 26, 2018, after a short illness. He is survived by beloved wife Emily Kropp; loving daughter Dianne (David) Tutill; younger sister Dorothy Foster; cousins, Laura Gyori and Bernadette (Bob) Gray; nephew Sean (Theresa) Foster; brothers-in-law, Rudy (Jeannine) Faktor and John (Marg) Faktor. Ray was dearly loved by his predeceased parents, Joseph and Olga Kropp. Through the grace of God, we were blessed to spend time together with him before his passing. Ray was a beautiful soul who was a caregiver and companion to family members in need. Ray ran the family business, Kropp Tool and Die Ltd. from 1968 until it was sold in 1983. He then embarked on a career change to commercial real estate and eventually retired in 2011. Throughout his life, Ray enjoyed summers at West Hawk Lake until his health began to fail. He and Emily were also fond of occasional trips to Florida and Las Vegas. We wish to include a special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, followed by a reception at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care.
