Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICK TODERIAN June 5, 1944 - April 26, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband and father, Patrick. Surrounded by his family and in the comfort of his home, Patrick left peacefully to continue his journey at the age of 73, after a short and brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Peter, and sisters, Virginia and Vivian, he leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Lynne, daughter, Dalene (Rock), and sons, Craig and Travis (Vanessa). Also leaving to cherish his memory, his mother, Lena, his brothers, Garry (Susan) and Larry, sister, Sheila (Henry), his grand buddies, Zack and Abby, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, in-laws and cousins. Patrick was born in Shell Valley, Manitoba and grew up in the communities of Red Lake and Balmertown, Ontario. He moved to Winnipeg and began his 38 year career at Imperial Oil. After retirement, he volunteered at Winnipeg Harvest. Patrick lived a simple and modest life and devoted himself to his wife and children. His summers were spent on road trips with his family, travelling to various destinations which included visits with his mother and siblings in Ontario. Weekend trips to Grand Forks became a family tradition, a tradition that continued a few times a year even as his children got older. Patrick was a man of very few words, but certainly the words that he chose were wise and true. He was the most generous and selfless individual who, even leading into his last days, always put others needs in front of his own. As per Patrick's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 4 at the St. Demetrios Romanian Orthodox Church, 103 Furby Street, Winnipeg, MB. "God has you in his arms; I have you in my heart". RIP Papa T.
