LAURENCE (LAURIE) SYDNEY WILMOT June 13, 1933 - April 9, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Laurence Sydney Wilmot in Merritt, BC. Laurie was predeceased by his parents, Edith Louise Hope Wilmot (nee Littlewood) and Reverend Canon Laurence Frank Wilmot, and by his sister Louise Wilmot. Laurie is remembered by his sister Hope Wilmot (Dick Smith), his ex-wife Shirley, his children, Martin (Jane), Lauralea (Ed), Cindy-Lou and Wendy-May, nieces, Hope and Sarah Crawley (John Ervin), nephews, Paul (Mey) and Wade (Wendy) Rowland, and by his many grandchildren, in-laws, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and friends. We would like to thank Arlene and Gordon Garbet of Logan Lake, BC for the friendship and care they gave Laurie and the staff at Gillis House in Merritt.
