ISABEL FUMIYE HIROTA (TAMEMOTO) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Isabel Fumiye Hirota, at the age of 102, on April 29, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Shuzo (1945) and her son Toshi (1975). She will be dearly missed by her son Alan; grandson Aaron; wife Courtney and great-granddaughter Isabel, granddaughter Allison; husband Dan and great-grandson Porter. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba Centre - 180 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg on June 1 at 11:00 a.m. Isabel will be interred at the Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver, BC. Donations in Isabel's honour may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
