GREG ANS It is with deepest sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Greg Ans, aged 58 years, on May 6, 2018. After a short battle with cancer. It was his wish to be surrounded by his family when he passed at home. Greg has left to mourn his wife of 38 years, Darlene and his pride and joy, his two daughters, Bayllie and Katelyn. Greg was a kind hearted man, always joking around with family and friends he loved. You could always find him going to Tim's and talking or working on cars. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He loved his pets and always had some type of pet in our home. Greg has family and many friends who loved him and will miss him. Greg, you are my love, my life, my heart is broken. I am cold without your hugs. I will never be whole again. Saying good bye to you was the hardest thing we ever had to do. You will always be in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held May 17, please contact family for details.

Darlene, I am so so very sorry for your loss. I have many found memories of Greg, he was a quite young man. So gentle, so kind, so nice. I remember when he met you, you were his soulmate and it was beautiful to see. Although we have not seen each other in many years, I think often of the Ans family. Greg's grandparents lived across the road from us on the farm in Whitemouth. To Bailey and Katelyn, your dad is one of a kind. Remember him well, his love will always be with you and you will see it in the little things that you do like him. Darlene, this is a tough road for you - but breath and let your loved ones love you through. Hugs to you all and my thoughts are with you at this time. My deepest condolences! - Posted by: Lorna Bjorklund Brown (Family Friend) on: May 16, 2018

Dear Darlene and girls, although I have not seen Greg in many years I remember him fondly as a youngster. He was a great kid and I am sure he was even a greater husband and Dad. I was married to his Uncle Bob and send deepest condolences to you from Aunty Carol and family. - Posted by: Carol Ans (Family member) on: May 13, 2018

I didn't have the privilege to know Greg, but you can tell a lot about a person by whom they marry and you rarely find a more kind and thoughtful person than Darlene. My thoughts and compassion go out to Darlene and family in this time of loss and grief. Richard - Posted by: Richard Hurd (wife's co-worker) on: May 13, 2018
