ANTHONY (TONY) HUNNIE
Date of Passing: May 15, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTHONY (TONY) HUNNIE It is with our deepest heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, sibling and friend, Tony Hunnie, on May 15, 2018, at the young age of 65. Tony was the embodiment of what is good; he never strayed from his gentle and kind nature. He worked hard, gave unselfishly, and cared without restraint. He loved to laugh and had a smile that filled our hearts. Our hearts now have a void that will never be filled. He's gone too soon and without goodbye. And we can't wait to see you again Pops. Your warmth and love will live on forever in those you've left behind. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB, with reception to follow. We ask that those wishing to share their love for Tony say a few words at the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 500-250 Dundas St. West, Toronto, ON M5T 2Z5 or online at https://cmha.ca/donate. Condolences, pictures and videos may be left on Tony's tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

Our condolences to T.J. , Chanda, Mable, and Tony’s brothers and sisters. I didn’t get to see Tony a lot over the years, but he was a pleasure to see and talk to when our paths crossed. Always friendly and upbeat, a true gentleman and wonderful father. We had a lot of laughs as kids when we’d visit Tony and his siblings on the old farm in Libau. Miss him already. Scott Hunnie. - Posted by: Scott Hunnie and Barb Hunnie (Cousin ) on: May 22, 2018
