Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFABIAN FONTAINE Suddenly on May 1, 2018, Fabian began his journey to the world of our ancestors. He burst into this world as a free spirit on March 29, 1963, rarely slowing down since that day. However, he did pause long enough to have a daughter, Amber Rae, who was born on June 29, 1983 and is his pride and joy. Fabian spent his childhood in Sagkeeng, Winnipeg and Rivers, Manitoba but as an adult travelled the country with frequent stops in Calgary and especially Vancouver, where his path eventually ended. We know the road is calling him home but will all miss his generosity, his relentless teasing (which was legendary) and his surprise visits. He was predeceased by his brother Dwayne and parents, Jessie and Elmer. He leaves to mourn his daughter Amber (Jeff) and a soon-to-be-born grandchild, siblings, Tim (Martha), Jamie, Dale (Kim), Monty (Ricki), Lannette (Larry), EJ (Eva), Larry (Noreen), Tracy and Rhonda (Gilbert), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A memorial was held on May 17 in Vancouver, BC and will be held in Winnipeg at the Thunderbird House from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on May 28.
