He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Joan; children, Shannon (Rob), Ashlea and Ryan (Sarah); grandchildren, Rylee, Silas, Liam and Logan; sister Bonnie; many relatives, as well as his two childhood best friends, Wayne Bowman and David Gregg. I was a classmate of Roy's at the "then" MIT. We graduated from Electronic Technology together in 1966. Roy went to work for MTS and I took a job down east with NRC.
