SALLY CARON CHOCHINOV 1949 - 2018 Left to mourn are her husband Garry, of 43 years, daughter Carrie (Shawn), son Joel (Chatelaine), and three special grandsons, Parker, Christopher and Logan. Born in Medicine Hat Mom moved to Calgary as a young girl. While there she developed a love for the Calgary Stampeders. She later moved to Vancouver and then Winnipeg. It was while living in Winnipeg she met Dad and was married almost 44 years. Mom would always find time to enjoy her children as they competed in various sports and activities. Her grandchildren were the light of her eyes and she always had something for them. She was a member of ORT and later became a member of Boy Scouts of Canada. Mom was a very hard worker and for many years was the administrative assistant at Rosh Pina Synagogue and Canad Inns. She eventually joined the DND. Unfortunately she had to go on disability when she was hit hard by MS which greatly affected her. No matter how difficult things became Mom always had a positive outlook and refused to let the disease get her down. Special thanks to Andrea, her best friend for 40 years. A great thanks to Darren /and Char who were with her and helped her walk her last journey. Donations may be made in her honour to the Cancer Society or 1010 Sinclair Inc.

Our sincere condolences to Garry and family. We had the pleasure of having Garry as our wedding photographer for me and my late husband, Al, more than 45 years ago. Sally was a special lady, and she will be missed. - Posted by: Sara Wilner and Family (Family friend) on: May 28, 2018

Sally was so inspiring in her determination to work under adversity and her ability to see all the positive in her life when I know how frustrating her body was to her. Carrie I know you know how proud she was of you, but she would gush about you in our visits together. Garry, my heart goes out to you as you guys really had an exceptional bond and I can only imagine the void. A whole bunch of things we would laugh at come to mind but I can't print those! Know that I treasure the memory of having known all of you. Sally Brodrick - Posted by: Sally Brodrick (Friend) on: May 21, 2018

I was extremely saddened to learn of Sally's passing from my son Jarrett earlier this week. I have extremely fond memories of Sally's being my greatest fan as I instructed her class in the Adult Evening French sessions for Seven Oaks School Division. Sally was a wonderful, bubbly woman who will be sorely missed in today's world. - Posted by: Lana Storey (Friend) on: May 19, 2018
