JOHN H. M. KASIAN August 24, 1944 - May 15, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather. As a husband he was a rock. As a father he was always there for us in sports, coaching or a spectator, encouraging us to do our best. As a grandfather continuing to be there in a moment's notice when needed. He was always very proud of all of us and our achievements. At the age of 51, he retired from CP Rail and found his passion in genealogy with help from many cousins, and carving wood spirits. He also found enjoyment in spending his time on the computer researching new things and playing scrabble with his family and friends. He enjoyed getting together with his old-timer friends from CPR, reminiscing about their experiences through the years. Cremation has taken place. No formal service. Memorial service at a later date. He will be missed. Vichnaya Pam'yat

  • I am sorry to hear about John. I know this is very late but we use to be friends on facebook and we talked some of the time. One thing that I did notice about him was his strong personality and his beliefs. He loved his family there was no doubt about that. When he left facebook we lost touch, so I did not know of his passing until very recently.
