Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLISA LYALL (BOISSELLE) January 2, 1975 - May 13, 2018 With shattered hearts we announce the passing of Lisa Lyall, following a courageous 53-day battle with cancer. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Lisa moved to Yellowknife, NWT in 2003 where she began her aviation career as a pilot for Air Tindi where she met her husband Devin, also a pilot. (Lisa fell in love with flying when her maternal grandfather recounted tales of his flying days in the Second World War and surprised her with an introductory flying lesson.) After marrying they started their little family. Lisa was a loving, passionate mother to her two children who share her contagious smile. Lisa loved the outdoors, including camping, fishing and adventuring with family and friends alike. Along with a love of nature, Lisa had an incredible eye for both design and good people. Her positive energy and infectious laugh made a lasting impression with anyone she met. Lisa will be remembered lovingly by her husband Devin, her beautiful (mini-me) daughter Carys (eight) and adventurous son Jack (six); her mother Debbie Smith-Ross; stepdad Terry Ross; brother Miles Boisselle; parents-in-law Lynda and Lindsay Lyall, and brother/sister-in-law Tim Lyall and Kate Casselman. A memorial service has been held in Yellowknife and friends and family celebrated her memory with a bonfire at the Yellowknife Ski Club.

Oh wow! I am shattered to learn of Lisa's passing. My memories of Lisa are when she was a little kid who loved everything life could offer. One of them being speed skating. Lisa always had a huge smile and enjoyed life. My heartfelt condolences to Lisa's husband and children; but mostly her Mom Debbie. My grandma always said, "A mother should never outlive their children." Words cannot express the loss that Lisa's passing has left in her family and friends' hearts. I never got to see Lisa after so many years. Debbie would radiate talking about Lisa's life up north. Your smile and your love of life will be missed Lisa! - Posted by: Tracy Young (Friend to Debbie and Miles and Lisa) on: Aug 14, 2018

This news breaks my heart. I have not seen Lisa for many years but she is someone I would often think about from time to time. She was my best friend in Junior High and a kindred spirit. I will never forget her infectious laugh, her adventurous soul and her fun-loving ways. The memories are heartfelt. My deepest of condolences to Devin, Carys, Jack, and family. Please know you are in my thoughts. Big Love- Xo. - Posted by: Suzanne Boyd (Childhood friend) on: May 30, 2018
