EIRIKKA THORSTINA PROST (nee THORSTEINSON) July 20, 1935 - May 22, 2018 In the early morning hours of a beautiful spring day, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at the age of 82 years. Thorstina was predeceased by her husband Ronald (Rocky) Prost. Left to cherish her precious memory are her children, Karen (Larry), Cydni (Brett), Gary (Donna), Brian (Karen), Ken (Karen) and Keith (Lisa), her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom is also survived by sisters, Kristine, Wilma, Maria (Lou), Norma and Alda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom will be dearly missed along life's way, and lovingly remembered every day; for her unwavering love and dedication to family, her pride in her children and Icelandic heritage, her inner and outer beauty and radiant smile, her love of life and laughter, nature and animals, music and song. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Holy Family Home, and especially to those on Saint Paul Unit where Mom spent her last eight years being loved and cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Holy Family Home, or a charity of your choice. I give you this one thought to keep I am with you still - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the sweet uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still in each new dawn. Goda Nott Elskan
