Date of Passing: May 23, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTIANE MICHENEAU January 16, 1948 - May 23, 2018 Christiane was born in Paris, to Henri Micheneau and Helene Boudin. At 17, she left Paris to live in Draguignan with her new husband. After having their daughter, Nathalie, they moved to begin a new adventure in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA. Christiane went on to work a variety of jobs before starting a long career at Air Canada. Her move to Montreal in 1977, contributed to her advancement in the company and to her managing a large department. After many years of retirement, Christiane moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to Nathalie, her husband Ron and their three children: Alexandre, Christian and Jonah. Christiane made many friends upon her return to Winnipeg and reconnected with old ones. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family, and her dog Sasha. Christiane had an enormous love of animals and of nature and donated generously to The Humane Society. There will be an informal gathering at 113 Fifth Avenue on Sunday, May 27 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for those who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter of your choice. Maman would have liked that. E.J. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 204-253-5086 ejcoutu.com

I met Christiane years ago when she worked in the Human Resources department at Air Canada. Several years later our paths crossed once again when we both worked in the Customer Relations department. Christiane was very good at her job and was well thought of at work. She and I would go out for dinner once in a while and always remained friends. She was kind and loyal and she will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend. - Posted by: Kathleen Brennan (Friend & Colleague) on: May 29, 2018
