Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE WEINSTEIN (nee COSMAN) December 23, 1924 May 27, 2018 We are heartbroken to share that our beloved mother, Florence Weinstein, 93, departed this world surrounded by family early Sunday morning. Widow of Saul Weinstein, mother to Deborah Weinstein, Andrea DiGiulian, Judy Lewis and son-in-law Stephen, and David Weinstein, Baba was grandmother to Sadie Weinstein, Charlie and Sasha DiGiulian, Jessie and Saul Lewis, and an inspiration to us all. Florie was born in Winnipeg, and a graduate dietitian from the University of Manitoba. Together with her adored husband Saul, she lived a rich and fulfilling life, first in Saskatchewan, then in Montreal and ultimately Toronto. She is best remembered for her sharp and insightful opinions, independent spirit, delicious baking including world-famous pies and Baba Buns, and her love and unwavering support and dedication to our family. She is survived by her brother Les Cosman of Calgary, and predeceased by her parents, Charles and Meita (Hurtig) Cosman; her brothers, Wilfred, Ernie, Meyer, Herb; and sister Dorie Cosman McKay. Services are at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue W., Toronto. Interment at Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
