IVY CHRISTINE OMICHINSKI (nee HARBOUR) It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear wife, mother, and grandmother, Ivy Omichinski, on December 20, 2017 at the St. Boniface Hospital, with loving family at her bedside. Ivy will be sadly missed by her husband, Reg, her sister Linda, brother David, her two sons, Douglas (Debbie), Grant (Norma); grandchildren, Lindseigh, Angela (Damian), and Tomas, two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ivy was born in Winnipeg on June 17, 1935. In 1955 she married Reginald Omichinski and together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. In keeping with Ivy's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Green Acres Cemetery. A reception celebrating Ivy's life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in Maxime's Restaurant, 1131 St. Mary's Road. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why. We pray that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through, We'll always love and cherish you.
