Knew Ed back in the early 60's when we affectionately knew him a Zorch. He was a great guy who enjoyed playing football with the West End Memorials on any given Sunday. His wasn't a big guy, but he had a set of shoulders on him that could knock you flat on your back when he hit you. Had a lot of good conversations with him throughout those years, and enjoyed his commentary as we watched hockey or Bomber football at Blackie's Drug Store on William Ave. A very outstanding individual in his own way, he painted his '53 Olds bright yellow to make his point. If there was a scrap, you couldn't ask for a better man to have at your side. Tough as nails, yet a heart of gold. I enjoyed all the time I spent with you. I'm sure PJ will be there to welcome you in your final resting place. We'll miss you Zorch, take care. Georgina, you had one of the best guys to take care of you during your life, keep his memory alive. ED. - Posted by: Edward Skilnick (Old Friend) on: Jun 02, 2018
