LEA THIBERT (nee GUENETTE) October 26, 1944 June 5, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Léa on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the age of 73 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sherry, Ed (Claudette) and Tina; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her two brothers; her sister; numerous nephews; nieces; family and friends. Léa was predeceased by her husband Eddy; her parents, Alfred and Flore; five sisters; and five brothers. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Paroisse du Précieux-Sang church hall, 200 Kenny Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Léa can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. To Sherry-Ann, "little" Eddy, Tina-Lynne, Rose-Aimee, Roland, Jerry and all of your families, we offer our most sincere condolences. May you find comfort in each other and in knowing that Lea is now at peace and in a better place. Hold on to all the fond memories: the family Christmas gatherings of long ago, the time spent at Lilac Resort, and many many others that are dear to you.
