My deepest condolences to Lena, Kim, Debbie, Shelley, Troy and Amy on the passing of Sam. Sam was like a father to me growing up a few doors down and Sam, Lena and Nanni always made me feel like I was a member of the family. And what a great family! Being Shelley's best friend from the age of 3, I was included in many family gatherings over the years. I remember one time as a very young girl telling Sam that I wanted to be Italian too and he told me that because I was Shelley's best friend and I loved eating rigatoni, that this made me part Italian. I was thrilled! I'm so very proud to have known Sam. He truly was a blessing in my life. Much love - Shawn - Posted by: Shawn Morrison (Chudley) (Friend/neighbour/part Italian family member :)) on: Jun 22, 2018

Dear Dad, Your number one misses my Number #1. You did not go alone, and "I CAN ONLY IMAGINE" how wonderful it is to be with our Lord and Savior as you did not go alone. Nanni & Nono were waiting for you. You are surrounded by so many who love you and we will be together again soon. I miss you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow. Rest in Heavenly Peace Dad. My deepest condolences to Lena and family. I met Sam 18 years ago when we bought our cabin in Matlock, MB. We later found that my father worked with his cousin of the same name. I enjoyed the chats that Sam and I had over the years and looked forward to seeing him each summer as he tilled the garden and oversaw his seedlings and plants/vegetables. Again, our deepest condolences. The Apter Family. - Posted by: Brent Apter (Neighbour in Matlock) on: Jun 12, 2018
