Lily was born in Winnipeg on March 2, 1933 to parents, Natalia and Karl Tepper, immigrants to Canada from Poland. She was one of six children. While many of her siblings spread their wings and moved away Lily remained close to her parents throughout their lives. Lily was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Irma and Jean. She leaves behind her pride and joy, her son Jim (James) Tepper, daughter-in-law Vivian; her sisters, Ella and Helen, her brother Alfred, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lily's dream was to sing and teach ballroom dancing. She enjoyed working at Arthur Murray Dance School. Later she worked at The Metropolitan Store, Holt Renfrew, and Gambles. Lily had a number of hobbies including jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, reading and travelling both within Canada and abroad, but her greatest love was gardening. A petite, fashion conscious lady, Lily enjoyed wearing dresses and looking pretty. Lily was always smiling and friendly and had a good sense of humour. She talked with everyone. She is sadly missed by her friends and staff at Heritage Lodge, and her loving family. No formal service held. Goodbye Mom. We know you are smiling and dancing through your garden in the sky. xoxo
