  • Deepest condolences on the passing of Melba. She was both a good friend and a member of Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union in Manitoba. Melba was good generous and thoughtful person. It was a pleasure to know and work with her. I was the Sectrary Treasurer of the Union at that time. Sincerely EDWARD GORALSKI - Posted by: EDWARD GORALSKI (Union Representative) on: Oct 17, 2018

  • I have known Melba since we were both 13. We lived 2 blocks away on the same street. Melba and her mom were Witnesses at the time but I was not. Mel and I moved to Calgary 22 years ago but every time we came to Winnipeg we would get together for lunch or supper. Sometimes we talked on the phone. Mel and I will miss her very much. Despite all her problems physical and emotional she was faithful to Jehovah. - Posted by: Mel and Elaine Orr (Longtime friends ) on: Jun 19, 2018

  • So sorry to hear of Melba’s passing. We were friends back in our youth, in Weston Congregation. We spent a lot of time together then, having giggle fests as teenagers do. We contacted again a few years ago in Vancouver when she was out visiting her aunt. She occasionally emailed me after that, and I always answered, but I guess technology was hard. She dearly loved her daughter and granddaughter. ‘TIL we meet again..💕 - Posted by: Beth Farquhar (Listmayer) (Friend) on: Jun 16, 2018
