Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMA GIESBRECHT Norma Derksen Giesbrecht (nee Friesen), aged 78 years of Altona, formerly of Neubergthal, Manitoba, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. She is survived by her husband John J. Giesbrecht, children, Harold (Brenda) Derksen, Pauline (Paul) Villeneuve, Henry (Kathy) Derksen and Marj (Warren) Heinrichs, daughter-in-law Colleen Derksen, as well as 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Johnny Derksen, and by her son Larry Derksen. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church (62 10th Ave. NE, Altona, MB). A private family burial will be held prior to the service at the Neubergthal Cemetery.
