COLIN PETERS It is with great sadness that Sylvia and Norman Peters, of Winnipeg, announce the passing, on June 17, 2018, of their beloved third son Colin Gerald, previously of Winnipeg and Thompson but latterly of Toronto. Colin who celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this year whilst vacationing in Mexico, was born in Spain where he spent his first four years. After the next six years in England, he accompanied his parents to Canada in 1967. Colin, who held a degree in Political Science, worked as a computer networking consultant, met his partner, Shanaz Bahrami, in 2000 and they have been together since. He spent as much time as possible at his beloved cabin on Lake Simcoe where he was able to indulge in his favourite pastimes such as swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing and birdwatching. His sense of humour, loyalty to friends and his generosity were legendary. He leaves behind to mourn his wife Shanaz, her brother Reza (Tanaz) and daughter Shadda, his parents, Sylvia and Norman, brothers, Adrian (Nora), Nigel (Janice) and Gareth (Ursula), nieces, Lyndsey and Lauren, and nephew Andrew.
