HORTENSE TRUDEL October 6, 1924 - June 14, 2018 Mom is now gone from this life to join her husband, our dad, Henri. She passed away at her residence Actionmarguerite, St. Vital on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She is now comfortable and at peace. She leaves to mourn her four children, Donald (Jeanie), Jacques (Diane), Colette (Gerald Houle) and Daniel (Denise). She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, sisters, Aurise Comeau, Aline Neveux (Ernie) and Marcelle Robidoux, sisters-in-law, Lorraine Forest, Ardith Forest and Germaine Dupuis (Theodore), brother-in-law Gabriel Catellier and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She was a kind and loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is now with her husband of almost 70 years, infant daughter Lucette, her departed parents and numerous family members. Dad loved her so much, she him and it showed. They were a living example of a loving couple to us and to others around them. She was thoughtful, kind and soft spoken. Her last years were more challenging but she would still tell us to make sure we said hi to the family at home and thanked us for coming to visit and for doing all that needed to be done to make her comfortable. We send a load full of gratitude to the staff at Actionmarguerite for the care and compassion they have shown to Mom and us, the family. You need to know that you were appreciated. Cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB with interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3K 0K6 (204-949-2000). Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www. glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
