Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION ROSE LEAVENS-LAFORGE (nee MYSENIUK) 1946 - 2018 With great sadness, we announce the passing of Marion at the St. Boniface Hospital on Monday, June 18, 2018 of cancer. Marion graduated from the University of Manitoba, and then worked for the Federal Government until her retirement in 1996. She married Daniel Leavens in 1970 and was widowed in 1981. Marion married Robert Laforge in 1985 and was widowed again in 2015. Her flower gardens at her home in Charleswood and cottage at Poplar Bay were her pride and joy. Marion and Bob travelled the world for 30 years. Generous and compassionate, she will be missed by her sister Olga and Alan Foy; brother Bill and Debbie Myseniuk; sister-in-law Sharon Switzer, nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. A special thank-you, to all the nurses and staff of 6A West of St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and care over the past two months. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Marion's life on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 795 Sterling Lyon Parkway 4th floor Hospitality Room. I was sad to learn of Marion's passing and wish to offer my heartfelt condoleances to her sister and brother as well as to her extended family.
