Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA FERLAINO (nee NICOLETTI) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother Maria (nee Nicoletti) Ferlaino, who will now reunite with her beloved husband, Francesco (our father). Born January 20, 1923, in San Mango D'Aquino, Italy. She leaves her two sons in Winnipeg, Rosario (Rosa), two grandchildren, Francesco (Aylin), great-grandchildren, Eros and Alessio, granddaughter Maria Ferlaino. Son Armando (Maria) and grandchildren, Maria (Tanner) and Francesco. Her two daughters in Italy, Lia (Aldo) Motta and grandchildren, Antonio (Christina), great-grandson Aldo Francesco, Dario (Teresa) and great-grandson Antonio Pio. Daughter Rosa (beloved Roberto) Motta and grandchildren, Aldo (Antonella), great-grandchildren, Danila and Roberto, granddaughter Maria and great- grandchildren, Sara and Serena, Massimo (Piera) and great-grandchildren, Alisya, Roberto and Matias. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m., at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., Winnipeg. A special thank you to our sisters, Elia and Rosa who over the years have taken good care of our mother til her last breath taken June 21, 2018. Riposa In Pace Mamma Adesso sei con Papa!

Fondly thinking of Ms. Instance-Liskie's friend Ms. Ferliano. The husband of Ms. Instance-Liskie used to be a Special Olympics floor hockey coach. I remember when Kevin, his mom and I ran into Linda and her husband Wally (deceased) at Pizza Place when it was at Grant Park Mall. My friend struck up a nice conversation with my school psychologist while waiting for our order.
