DIANNE DEL GRANDE (nee BAXTER) June 15, 1942 - May 25, 2018 Dianne passed away peacefully after battling a rapid onset of Alzheimer's. A resident of Hillsborough, CA, she was predeceased by her adoring husband Donald of 42 years. Feeling her loss are her son Daniel (wife Sarah) and daughter Donna (husband John) and grandchildren, Emily, Joshua and Kyle, her sisters, Shirley Martin and Lynne Petelski, several nieces, nephews and other family members. In recent years her suitor, Bill Bunker, brought her much happiness. Dianne was born and raised in Winnipeg, predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Kelvin Baxter, and was a 1964 nursing grad from the Winnipeg General Hospital. She moved to San Francisco in 1965 to nurse. She was an avid gardener and in later years was a very active member of many guilds and clubs. An open house celebration was held at the Gazebo in San Mateo Garden Centre June 11. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
