LEONA PAGET (nee ST. GERMAIN) January 8, 1928 - June 21, 2018 We sadly announce the passing of Leontine (Leona) Marie Paget, our beloved and cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was predeceased by her children, Bonnie, Darlene and Alan, and by her siblings, Albert, Raymond and Alice. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Bev (Clay), Brenda (Harvey) and Leslie, her sons-in-law, Terry and Greg, her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers, George (Margo), Eugene and Rollie (Jane), sister Helen, her good friends, Burnese, Pauline and Julie, and many nephews and nieces. We will miss Mom's many stories about growing up in King's Park and the fun she had as a young girl working at the University of Manitoba during the war years. Mom never liked to just sit at home and she was always so thankful to share life's simple pleasures - like family dinners (cooked by her daughters of course), trying out new lunch places, visits to the casino - and Bingo! Private burial has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Carriage House North, 535 Leila Ave. on Saturday, July 7 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: will paget (Her deceased husbands son) on: Jul 10, 2023

  • I remember so many family get togethers we had as kids. It's true however as we all grew up and went our own ways, we didn't see each other much at all. But that in itself does not take away the fond memories and the love that grew for Auntie Lee. Always kind always loving. My love and hugs to my dear cousins that are left to mourn. Your mom was a wonderful woman and I am so fortunate to have been blessed to know her. - Posted by: Jocelyn St. Germain (Niece ) on: Jul 03, 2018

  • My sincere condolences to the family. I have very fond memories of your Mom from my high school days. She was a beautiful soul. - Posted by: Kathy Baumler (Hocken) (Friend) on: Jul 02, 2018
