MICHAEL DANIEL HULTIN September 24, 1993 - July 1, 2018 Michael passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on the morning of July 1, 2018. He is survived by his parents, Philip and Monica Hultin and his younger brother David, grandparents, Zygmunt and Daniela Horawski of Toronto, and Beryl Hultin of Waterloo. He was predeceased by his grandfather Neil Hultin. Michael attended the Adapted Skills Program at Lord Roberts School and the Life Skills Program at Grant Park High School in Winnipeg, where he made many friends. After finishing school, Michael lived in a Dasch Inc. community home while attending the Adult Day Program at the St. Amant Centre. Michael enjoyed listening to music, and funny noises always made him laugh. Children's voices drew his attention and smiles. Although unable to speak, he had a sense of humour that emerged in huge smiles and giggles when someone had a "whoopsie". He enjoyed having stories read to him, and he knew his favourites very well. A memorial mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford Street on Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Michael's memory to the Children's Rehabilitation Foundation (http://crf.mb.ca) or the Dasch Foundation (https://www.dasch.mb.ca/foundation/support-dasch).
