Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONNA MAE ROTH Donna Mae Roth (Prefontaine) (nee Bell), age "none of your business", died peacefully at Peace Arch Hospice in White Rock, BC on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1942 in Neepawa, MB and lived most of her life in Winnipeg, MB where she worked at Child and Family Services for over 30 years. After retiring, she moved to Sylvan Lake, AB where she volunteered for eight years as a board member with the Municipal Planning Commission, as well as a service rep for a condo project. She wanted to contribute to the community and did a fabulous job. She finally settled in White Rock, BC and became a full time Grammie. Survivors include her loving husband Wayne, her two daughters, Angel (Douglas) and Marce, her two grandchildren, Cassandra and Magnus, a sister Phyllis and brother Doug (Patty). Deceased are husband Raymond, mother and father, Phyllis and Hugh, and brother Ronald. All will be welcoming Donna Mae with open arms as she greets them again. She was also an aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many. She loved and cherished you all. Mom's last words were, "Don't forget me" and we won't. Whenever a glass of wine is raised, a Dolly Parton song comes on, the Family Feud is being watched or a beautiful orchid is being admired, you will always be remembered. Due to our mother's request, no funeral service will be held. A private Celebration of Life will be held with family and close friends in the near future.

My sincere condolences to all of Donna-Mae's family. Her and I spent so many years together doing crazy things..fun things...even wintered a few snowstorms together. I have so many great memories of time spent with Donna-Mae and Angel and Marce on Birchdale. She was definitely one of a kind and will NEVER be forgotten. Cheers my dear! - Posted by: Elaine Clark Wiens (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2018
