MYRTLE EDITH WOLFE (nee DUNFIELD) We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Myrtle Edith Wolfe at the age of 95 on June 27, 2018. Myrtle was predeceased by husband Gordon; daughter Valerie; her brothers, Vernon, Edgar, and sister Evelyn. She will be lovingly missed by her son David (Sandra); grandson Scott and Carlee (Kashton, Corydon); granddaughter Erin and Kenneth (Elizabeth, Addison); and grandson Derek and Mandy (Nolan, Zachary), as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Myrtle was born in Foxwarren in 1923. After graduation she moved to Winnipeg and was employed at Oldfield, Kirby and Gardner. After the Second World War, she married Gordon and made a loving home for their two children in Winnipeg. With her musical talent she sang in church choirs and took great delight in singing in the Winnipeg Philharmonic. She enjoyed walking, gardening and winter vacations in Hawaii. Her enduring legacy of faith, generosity, and joy of life will be a source of rich memories. We wish to express our appreciation to staff at West Park Manor who cared for her with great compassion. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave.
