Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDSAY CAMERON JOSEPH FREEDY March 3, 1963 - July 11, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family regrets to announce the sudden passing of Lindsay on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the young age of 55. He was predeceased by his parents, Sonny and Fern Freedy. Lindsay will be greatly missed by his only sister Kelly (Jerry), niece Amber (Paul), nephew Jordan; great-nieces and nephew, Cali, Addison and Sonny, his Aunty Iris and Aunty Shelagh (Doug), and his many cousins. He also leaves behind his fiancé Renee, her daughters, Angela, Yolande, Nancy, and sons, Boxer and Jason, and an army of grandchildren who adored him and called him "Pops". In his youth Lindsay loved to go to Cartwright with his cousins to hunt and fish. He loved spending time with his dad playing hockey and going to the beach. Lindsay started his career at his aunt and uncle's tire shop in Kenora, later returning to Winnipeg to work for his good friend Joe at William Tire. Owning his own tire business was not enough of a challenge so he ventured out to masonry and worked for his lifelong friend Kim Cheang. Lindsay loved everything outdoors and could always be found fishing, hunting or trapping. He was a devoted son and spent endless hours going to Bingo with his mom, later becoming her caregiver - never missing a day by her side. Nine years ago, he was lucky enough to meet the love of his life Renee, the two were inseparable. Lindsay was always the life of the party and no matter where he went he knew someone and was loved by all. A celebration in honour of Lindsay's life will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Phoenix Soccer Club, 900 Raleigh Street at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Kelly Ann and family, so sorry to hear of Lindsey’s passing. Although we’ve been in Alberta over 45 years I still have vivid memories of Lindsay as a little boy. He was such a happy mischievous little kid. I remember all the “Lindsay” stories Auntie Fern and Uncle Sonny would tell us on our many visits to Transcona. So sad that his life was cut so short. Love and hugs to you and your family from all your family in Alberta. - Posted by: Karen (Alexander) Bartlette and family (Cousin ) on: Jul 22, 2018

I have a lot of great memories of my cousin Lindsay, many of them from when we were young. My favourite times were our family functions. We had so much fun together. Lindsay was always so good to me. He had a heart of gold and was beyond generous. He was so funny and had such a contagious laugh, always full of life. I loved my cousin dearly and he will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Barbra Rogers (Cousin) on: Jul 15, 2018
