ALBERT ANDREW EWERT 1960 - 2018 Unexpectedly, but peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018, Albert Ewert had passed away at his home in Winnipeg at the age of 57 years. Albert will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his common-law spouse Karen Smith; sisters, Doris, Helga and Grace; brother Carl; as well as by numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Irmgard (nee Steginus). Born in Winnipeg, MB at St. Boniface Hospital on December 23, 1960, Albert had lived and worked most of his life in Winnipeg. He would spend the last 25 years working at New Flyer Industries and had developed a passion for the game of golf. Albert's funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to the service.
