Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryORVAL CHARTRAND April 26, 1942 - August 1, 2018 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Orval Chartrand. Orval was born on April 26, 1942. He was raised in St. Ambroise, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Emile Chartrand, 10 days apart in 1953, his wife Geraldine in 2006, sister Marie in 2013, nephew Wade Shuter in 2000. He is survived by his sisters, Yvonne Kitzan of Prince George, BC, Isabelle Boyko of Merritt, BC, Hilda (Allan) Barsness of Winnipeg and brother Jerry (Henrietta) of Winnipeg. Orval served his country as a member of Canada's Armed Forces Queen's Own Rifles. He saw service in Cyprus with a Canadian peacekeeping force. He was then employed in the oil services industry in British Columbia until his retirement. You will be sadly missed Orval.
