He leaves behind his cherished family, his wife Pat; his children, Sharron and Brent; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many more dear friends and family. Funeral service will be held at Southwood United Church, 10690 Elbow Dr. S.W., Calgary, AB on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. "These hands of yours have done a lot of good these past 91 years. They planted seeds of kindness and watched them grow into a lifetime of family, friendships and love." Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. We were saddened to hear of Walter's passing. We always enjoyed seeing Pat & Walter whenever they could spare an hour or 2 on their many visits to MB. We have many good memories. So sorry to hear of Walter's passing. He and Pat would stop in to visit my mom and brother (Rose and Gord) who live across the street when they would come out to Beausejour for a visit.
