Look up to the sky. That's where the stars are. They are always shining there, whether we are gazing up at them, and whether we forget, and long after we die. May each of you become one of those shining stars." - "l'll be Right There" by Kyung-Sook Shin

This is late I know but I just found out I few days ago when I google her name. I worked with Conny in the '70's and '80's at Eatons downtown produce department. She was very intelligent and we had long talks about everything. Conny was liked by all of us! She had a great gift for listening and giving constructive feedback to anyone who wanted it. I am so sad and sorry to hear about her passing. I will always take time to remember her especially on October 16th. - Posted by: Emmin Hosein (Coworker at Eaton's Winnipeg ) on: Oct 14, 2022

I had the pleasure of meeting Connie also at BHF. A very admirable person with a great personality. Although our acquaintance was brief, she did make a lasting impression. My condolences to her family. - Posted by: Tammy (Former client) on: Aug 27, 2018

I worked with Connie for quite a few years at B.H.F. I admired her greatly. She was empathetic, fair, friendly, approachable. She was also one of the strongest women I know. She knew that she helped many people through her work, but I don't think she knew how many people she helped and influenced just by being a role model and just by her acceptance and understanding of everyone. I will miss her. My condolences to her family. She was an amazing person. - Posted by: Kathy Kaye (friend and co-worker) on: Aug 18, 2018
