He was predeceased by wife Dora Carmal Hupe whom he married on July 4, 1953. He later married Adrienn who also predeceased him. Funeral service will be held August 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald St., St. Boniface. Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery. A lunch will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m.

Grandpa always focused on you and gave you all his love when you were in his presence. He was devoted spiritually to God, hard work and his family. He never took one minute for granted. Grew the most wonderful tasting tomatoes on his balcony and shared them with me whenever I asked, although we joked and he would say "save me some". Spending hours upon hours talking, laughing and listening to his wisdom is a cherished memory for many I am sure. He absolutely loved watching the Bombers and the Jets.
