LEONA (LEONTINE) KRUSE After a courageous battle with cancer, Leona Kruse (nee Neault), peacefully passed away at Riverview Health Centre, in Winnipeg, on August 15, 2018. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Stanley; children, Don (Diane), Stan (Verna) and David (Lorraine); four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister Marie Harding, of Toronto, Ontario and predeceased by her parents, along with five sisters and three brothers. Leona was born in Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba to David Neault and Alexandrine Marion, on February 8, 1928. She married Stanley E. Kruse in 1946. On July 6 they celebrated 72 years of marriage. Leona took great pride being the church organist for Corpus Christi Church, in Narol, MB and St. Gerard's Church, in Winnipeg. Leona and Stanley enjoyed many years of RVing throughout Canada and the United States. Mom will be fondly remembered for the great sense of humour and her outgoing personality. The Kruse family thanks Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care Ward and their many friends at Concordia Village for their kindness and compassionate care she received. Special thanks to Arnie, Berryl and Helen for their help during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. A memorial service will be held at Concordia Village in the auditorium on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Hermann Dueck officiating.
