SAMUTH PRAK March 10, 1937 - August 19, 2018 With great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of our husband and father on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 81 years of age. Samuth was born in Takeo, Cambodia and met his wife, Phim Lean in Kompot, Cambodia. They survived the Khmer Rouge era, built his family in the refugee camp, and immigrated to Canada in 1989 with their children, Non Prak, Thy Prak and Bunthan Prak. He worked hard to provide for the family. Left to cherish Prak's memory are his wife Phim; children, Thy and Bunthan, and their spouses Sarim and Samol; grandchildren, Tasanee Prak, Achariya Prak, Rachana Prak, Benjamin Moung and Franklin Moung, along with numerous extended relatives and friends. Prak's memorial service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. We the family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital and our family friends for the support, compassion and care extended to our family.
