ROSEMARIE HILDA MACDONALD 1946 - 2018 On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Rosemarie Hilda MacDonald passed away peacefully in the Broadview Hospital at the age of 72 years. Rose was predeceased by her father Nick Regiec, 1979, her mother Olga Regiec, 2010, sister-in-law Candyce MacDonald, 2013, sister-in-law Dawn Regiec, 2017, and sister-in-law Leona MacDonald-Lock, 2017. Rose is survived by her loving husband Barrie MacDonald, Kipling, SK, her children, Heather (Dave) Markus, White City, SK, Colleen (Lyle) Scammell, Carlyle, SK and Danny (Tara) MacDonald, Lumsden, SK, grandsons, Brennan, Jayden and Dawson Markus, White City, SK, granddaughters, Alexa and Kiara Scammell, Carlyle, SK, great-grandson Easton Markus, Regina, SK, brother Mitchell Regiec, Winnipeg, MB, brother Alex (Marilyn) Regiec, Winnipeg, MB, brother-in-law Brian (Sherry Trasp) MacDonald, Kipling, SK, and sister-in-law Sharon (Jamie) Graham, Medicine Hat, AB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose was born in Toronto, ON in 1946. In 1961, at the age of 15, she moved with her brother and mother to Winnipeg. On September 28, 1968, Rose married Barrie and they settled on the farm near Kipling, SK. Rose was passionate about gardening, flowers, cooking, painting, writing poetry, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rose will be remembered as a good friend and neighbour and for her generosity and humour. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kipling Recreation Centre, Kipling, SK with the Rev. Hyun Heo officiating.
