Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • David and I were heartbroken to hear of Mary's death. Unfortunately we did not hear of her passing until after her funeral. Our condolences go out to the entire Wiebe family. One memory that stands out of Mary was when she offered to help care for my mother during her final months of cancer. Mary and my mother were neighbours and dear friends for many years and she insisted on caring for her. She did not want home care and a stranger to take care of her dear friend, she had to be the one. That was Mary, always thinking of others. Her kind heart and her giving nature helped me get through a very hard time in my life. She was always there to give a hug and give me her wise advise. Mary and Henry opened their heart and their home to David and I and were so supportive of our relationship and our new found home in the country. Mary was also a fantastic cook and baker and loved baking for her grandkids. One afternoon she taught me how to make meatbuns. She made the best apple perishky on the planet. She was very competitive and loved a good card game but hated to lose. David and I will miss her terribly but I know she is with her beloved Henry. Thank you Mary for blessing us with your presence. Love you forever and always. David and Rosemarie - Posted by: Rosemarie Kammerloch (Friend) on: Sep 08, 2018
