BRIAN ROBERT BEAR August 3, 1958 - September 3, 2018 With heavy hearts we announce that Brian Robert Bear Sr. passed away on September 3, 2018, with his love of his life, children and grandchildren by his side. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Florence; children, Brian also known as Bucky (Courtney), Richard (Chenae), Chyanne (Troy), Shannon (Joshua), Audy (Carly) and his baby Blaine Bear. Brian will truly be missed by all of his grandchildren, Terrill, Brayden, Brooklyn, Brighton, J.J., Kingston, Lianna, Carter, Lilyanna, Shaq, Bronson and baby; also the children Brian and Florence took as their own, Brayden and Jayden Cameron, Skye (Autumn and Jordan) Bear; his brothers and sisters, Melvin (Barbara), Larry, Winnie, Geraldine (Leslie), Maudie (Gordie), Olive (Archie), Clarance, Ernest, Linda and Verla (Glen). Brian was predeceased by his parents, William Robert Bear and Edith Kathleen Bear; his father and mother-in-law, Hubert and Ida McKay. Brian was born and raised in Peguis, Manitoba. He had a great impact on many people. Brian was lively and had a wonderful laugh that he shared with many people. Brian cherished his loving wife Florence and his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend. Brian was a very humble man who worked very hard everyday. He loved his yard, camping and spending time outdoors. Brian embedded such great family values into his children and his belief was that family was his world. He was so proud of his family and he held them all close to his heart. Brian had a very close relationship with his in-law family, the McKay's. A wake service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at his residence in Peguis, Manitoba. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peguis Community Hall, Peguis, Manitoba, with Pastor Glen Cochrane officiating.
