DENISE FROBISHER (nee CADOTTE) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Mom was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Arthur; sons, Patrick and Rick; son-in-law Richard McNabb and granddaughter Tara Murray. She is survived by her son Dennis (Candy); daughter Jo-Anne of New Westminister, BC; daughter-in-law Cindy; grandchildren, Jamie, Angie, Charlotte and Chad as well as seven great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends along with her dear friend Pauline Lafantaisie. Mom was born on June 26, 1929 in St. Vital and she remained a St. Vital gal. Denise worked and retired with the St. Vital school division and always had a smile for everyone. Mom had a memory sharp as a tac, never forgetting important dates or names, she was always the go to if you couldn't remember something. Mom also loved to travel and was sure to make it to BC every year to see her daughter. In keeping with mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial mass celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Eugene Parish, 1009 St. Mary's Road. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Denise may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. "Always loved, forever missed." E.J. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 204-253-5086 ejcoutu.ca

  • Mrs. Frobisher as I always called her lived a few houses down from my Mom and Dad's on Hindley. I became friends with Joanne when we were very young. Used to always go over to play with Joanne and Mrs. Frobisher was always there and very kind to us. She was a wonderful woman. I loved going over there. I'm so sorry I can't make it. Would have loved to see the family. My condolences to the family. May she rest in peace. For those who aren't sure who I am my maiden name was Poirier. - Posted by: Monique Willman (Friend to daughter) on: Sep 10, 2018

  • I met Denise when I was a young kid. She was warm and loving. She always had some goodies to offer me when my parents George and Fran Tucker and I visited her (and Art). Most I remember is her family and friends playing cards ...which at times very competitive and yet a great time for all. I’ll carry her in my heart until we meet again. Rest well in paradise. - Posted by: Cheryl Hill (Family friend ) on: Sep 10, 2018

  • Our deepest condolences to Denise's family and friends who loved her and will miss her deeply. Over the years I had the pleasure of sharing Denise's company at family functions at her son Ricky and my sister Cindy's place. I loved chatting with her when we ran into each other at the grocery store. She always had a smile and a laugh as we chatted. I will miss her too. Denise was a beautiful graceful lady. R.I.P.
