He was loving, caring and the sweetest man I ever knew. His wonderful smile, quick wit and zest for life will be missed. Corey spent his younger years in Whitefish Bay and Vermillion Bay, Ontario and Prince George, British Columbia. He was a member of the Canadian Army; he later moved to the United States where he worked as a Border Patrol Agent, Law Enforcement Officer in Georgia; he was also employed as a helicopter mechanic and inspector. Paramount in his life was his daughter, Veronica Robinson, whom he loved more than can be expressed. Corey loved working as a police officer and working on helicopters. He enjoyed watersports, travelling, going to museums, and music. He loved to meet new people and see new places. The Romanian community in Philadelphia and Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church held a special place in his heart. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Monika Robinson; daughter Veronica Maria Robinson; stepson Chris Begnaud; his sister Jolene Ducharme; brother Dwayne Robinson; aunts, Melvina Morriseau, Louise Mandemin, Margaret Favell, Josephine Robinson and Linda Williams; several cousins and numerous friends. Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip and Rose Bruyere, James and Pansy Robinson; father Richard (Dick) Robinson and mother Joyce Madelene (Bruyere) Robinson; several uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services were held on July 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church of Macon, Georgia, USA where Corey was a faithful member. Burial will be held in Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery in Vermillion Bay, Ontario, Canada on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
