MICHELLE SWEERS (VERMETTE) September 11, 1987 - September 12, 2018 With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Michelle due to complications after surgery. Michelle is survived by her loving husband Darren, parents, Leanne and Henry, sister Jodi, supportive in-laws Margaret and Mike Lupyrypa, Bob and Kim Sweers, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lindsay and Andrew Fiala, as well as her nephew Brody and niece Ava, whom she loved with all her heart. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as her two fur babies, Sox and Sadie. Michelle was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Currently she was employed as a support worker at SCE Lifeworks where she will be missed by all of her participants. Michelle's kindness and passion were known by many. She volunteered at Klinic and Meals on Wheels. She was always available to neighbours and friends. Michelle had a passion for travel and packed in many beautiful countries in her short life. She was excited to be maid of honor in Mexico for the upcoming wedding of her special friends Stephanie and Chris. It brings some comfort knowing that Michelle's Granny H. and Aunt Donna were there to greet her when she passed. Special thanks to the HSC team and to all our friends and family that have been by our side during our darkest hour. As in life, Michelle made the generous gesture of donating her tissues so that others will have less suffering. Shell was a daughter, sister, wife and friend, that brought great love and energy to our lives. She leaves a hole that will never be filled, but the memories she left will be cherished until we can be together again. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. with a lunch to follow. Internment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at a pet shelter of your choice. Michelle's life moto was "Live, Laugh, Love" You will be missed by all that knew you.

Michelle our lives crossed paths a few years ago when we enrolled in the Educational Assistance course at Red River. • We will miss Michelle and her infectious laugh. My wonderful memory: a fun day at the Forks as we all tailed Darren in his mascot costume. Michelle laughed the whole day at all of Darren's fancy moves and gestures. You guys as a couple were wonderful to observe and I am sure had a lifetime of great adventures despite the unfair real length of your time together. We are so sorry Darren. We send our heartfelt and warm thoughts to Michelle's family. Take care. Much love and hugs, Corrie and Pat Thompson - Posted by: Corrie and Pat Thompson (Family friends) on: Sep 15, 2018
