Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My condolences. Ms Kay Froese first hired me as a Health Care Aide (HCA). She knew my mother's family AND the Camp Director mentioned as reference on my application. During the HCA course she was very encouraging pointing out my capabilities and was very interested on learning that I was already accepted to her 'Alma Mata' School of Nursing, (waiting only for notification of start dates). She got the information I was unable to provide on further employment application where she was Administrator. After graduation and concluding the first performance review GGH Emergency, I mentioned to the Emergency Head Nurse, "I want you to know, I hold you in the same high regard as Ms Kay Froese." I then witnessed the great respect others also had of Ms Kay Froese and I learned she had been the Critical Care Director. Even later, I considered her to be my mentor as I sought professional and godly counsel (according to Ps 1:1-3) for a difficult situation. It was through our mutual sharing that we became friends and I could call her "Kay Froese". My apologies I failed to submit this earlier (during travels and limited internet access). - Posted by: H R (employee, student, mentee, friend ) on: Jul 31, 2019

  • Our condolences to the family on the passing of our dear friend and sister. We will always cherish the memories of the times we spend together. We will see you soon when we will also enter into the presence of our Lord. - Posted by: Tony & Betty Wagemakers (Friends) on: Sep 16, 2018

  • Margaret, my sincere sympathy to you and all the family. Kay was one of my instructors in nursing school and then I worked with her and we became good friends. She was such a support to my family during an especially trying time. She always showed a great interest in what my family were doing. She lived her faith in all that she did and was. You were such a supportive sister for so many years, you will miss her terribly. My thought and prayers are with you. Lynda Dick - Posted by: Lynda Dick (Friend) on: Sep 15, 2018
